Cooperation memorandum signed with National Archives of India


 
IBNA- Memorandum of cooperation between National Library and Archives Organization of Iran and the National Archives of India was signed and exchanged between the two organizations.
 
According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the public relations office of National Library and Archives Organisation of Iran (NLAI), a memorandum of cooperation this entity and the National Archives of India was signed and exchanged on May 23 with President Hassan Rouhani and the Indian prime Minister, Narendra Damodardas Modi in attendance.
Based on this agreement which was signed on 13 paragraphs by Seyyed Reza Amiri Salehi on behalf of the Government of Iran and the Indian Government’s representative, both parties will work on developing cooperation on the basis of quality principles and shared interests in accordance with the National Law of each country and the common principles of the International law.
Other provisions of this agreement include access to all references related to the field of documentation and mutual exchange of copies of interest to each party as well as implementation of shared projects in the area of facilitating the exchange of information in education records to decode the Persian/Arabic and Hindi documents.
